The CBRA has requested the next European Championship to be held at Plzen in the Czech Republic, 2013. This has been confirmed by majority vote via the country delegates. You will find information about the range below and links to the region. Plzen range itself has a history of large international events and is the venue where European shooting as an organised sport, began.
Notice to all delegates below;
All entries are based on the original calculation based on number of relays (6 per day), benches available (40), length of the competition and number of countries. The maximum of shooters per country and class is 6, but this could increase for specific classes - if fewer countries enter or they only send a small team. Reserve places are left for those countries that have not provided required answers and for possible new members. If these places are not taken they will be allocated to other countries.
The following information represents all dates and current needs related to the 2013 Plzen European Championship and World Cup.
1. 31st July 2012 - final date for final submission of national team numbers for each championship match.
Your Country details.
What class (s) you country will enter and how many shooters intend to shoot that class.
2. 31st December 2012 - final date for submission of national team names, so invoices can be issued soon after this date.
3. 31st January 2013 - final date for entry fees from teams and individuals to be sent to the match director.
We need to remind you that at present it is a maximum of 6 for each match, per country.
IF SOME COUNTRIES DO NOT ATTEND THEN THE SPARE PLACES WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO SHOOTERS DEMONSTRATING THE HIGHEST SCORE AVERAGE.
Final deadlines will not be changed. The country (countries) that fail to send in these information before 31.7.2012 will not be admitted to the competition (goes for new members as well) and free places will be divided to other countries. Reminders will be sent out.
The Plzen Range has been booked from the 3rd August 2013 until 16th August 2013. The specific dates, timetable and procedures for matches will be forthcoming after the 31st December 2013.
If you as delegates can provide information before these final dates this would help us tremendously in organisation for the Championships.
After last years experience with transfers and hotel, we will be able to offer the same service again in 2013.
